In terms of socials we are off to Twenty 20 cricket at Hove on 1 June and might take in England's World Cup game on 18 June at Goodwood races.... |

Thanks to those who helped at the ground yesterday - good turn out, let's keep it up throughout the season and thanks to Rew and Matt for all the work done on the Saturday.
As we're nearing the start of the season can I remind all players to reply straight away to texts when asked to play even if you can't play - this at least gives me a fighting chance of finding a replacement.

| We held the AGM last week with lots discussed and agreed but the main news was that Rewby is stepping down as club secretary due to family commitments. I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you for all his efforts over the past few years, he has done a sterling job. Kevin is the new secretary and I am sure that he too will do the club proud. Fixture news sees us playing Singleton in the first round of the Downland Cup so it is the holders versus the hosts! |

Well done to all who won an award at the presentation. One person Sparky forgot to thank on the evening was himself. For those of you who don't realise, Mark has spent hours sorting out last years and career stats. Well done to him and thanks to Mandy for putting up with him!

| Yes, it was a really good quiz night and nice to raise £217 for the club. Thank you to Pagham, Arundel Castle, Madehurst and Singleton for supporting it and to Rewby for creating some excellent jokers - for those of you who weren't there they have to be seen to be believed. Really looking forward to the team night out on the 23rd and then there's the presentation on 13 November. You should all have a menu by now but if not then just let me know... |
